PROFHILO - A non-surgical anti-ageing treatment that is causing quite a stir - promising to give younger-looking, glowing skin.
PROFHILO is a new bio-remodelling product for the skin. It is neither a winkle relaxing agent or a filler. It is a completely new line of product. You may think that it is similar to fillers as both involve injecting hyaluronic acid into the target areas. However, PROFHILO doesn’t give the volume that fillers provide and therefore does not change the shape and structure of your face. PROFHILO instead, stimulates collagen and elastin production in the skin through the slow release of hyaluronic acid which hydrates, firms and actually rebuilds new, younger-looking skin cells. PROFHILO contains one of the highest and purest concentrations of hyaluronic acid.
What can PROFHILO help with?
It acts as a hydrator rather than a traditional dermal filler, and therefore fantastic for those with tired, dull and ageing skin, as it provides overall more plump and luminous skin.
It can be used to treat the face, neck, hands, arms, knees, and abdomen.

What is the Treatment journey for PROFHILO?
The treatment journey involves an in-depth consultation with the Aesthetic Doctor. This is to better understand your goals and ensure you get a bespoke treatment plan.
The treatment itself is recommended to take place over two sessions with 1 month between.

During the treatment, hyaluronic acid is injected into several different areas (generally 5 times on each side of the face, or neck). There may be some stinging for up to 90 seconds but no pain, no gain and all that!
As the PROFHILO works it spreads under the skin and works its magic.

Results can be seen from 2-7 days after treatment with maximum results visible 1 month after 2nd session.
To prolong your PROFHILO results, the treatment can be performed every 6 months.
How safe is PROFHILO?
It is incredibly safe due to the formulation of HA. HA levels in the body are naturally balanced by an enzyme known as hyaluronidase, which breaks down the hyaluronic acid molecules. This is also the substance that breaks down PROFHILO over time, making it the least disruptive form of filler as the body is already equipped to work with the main ingredients.
There is no downtime after your treatment, but you may have some redness and lumpiness in the treated areas. This usually subsides within 24 hours. Don’t use makeup for the rest of the day as this can cause irritation.
